A PONY TALE...
Once there was two little girls Juliet and Kathryn who loved horses and ponies. Pony mad is an absolute understatement, they spent years looking over fences, playing with toy horses, dreaming and wishing of a pony of their own.
After years of the girls harping their poor parents relinquished, but first they had to pass a major test of horsemanship. A tough riding horse camp for a week on borrowed friends ponies.
Alas to the parents dismay the two girls passed and the course further cemented the girls love of horses.
Soon after the girls dream came true, a beautiful English Riding Pony 'Fox Rock' was purchased, followed by many beautiful ponies and horses. It became apparent one pony wasn't enough.
Every weekend was taken up competing at Horse Shows, Show Jumping, Hunting, ODEs and Pony Club. Hampers were filled with delicious morsels by their mother and their father watched proudly and patiently and always filled the glove box with chocolate treats.
The little girls grew up and the love of ponies never diminished.
The Pony Tale continues today with 'PONY TALES' two businesses created out of knowing the longing a child can have who doesn't own or have easy access to ponies.
Juliet offers PONY TALES RIDING in Cambridge, for children and adults to learn to ride or revive their riding as well as Pony Club, competition riding, and trekking.
Kathryn creates childhood memories with PONY TALES PARTIES, Pony and Barn Parties and Pony Play Group in Hamilton.
And so not to end this Pony Tale the girls still dream of ponies ......... and are living happily ever after as they are best friends, surrounded by horses and ponies, their loving families and the most wonderful parents who continue to bring hampers filled with delicious morsels to horse events.
